When asked her opinion of objectivity, Al Jazeera producer Deema Khatib calls it a mirage, which is a powerful statement about the foggy nature of truth as interpreted by the media. In this study of the news agency Al-Jazeera, Hugh Miles examines one of the fascinating new media companies--one whose fortunes are tied in with world events.
